Mexico keeps to self-imposed quote, Russia does not - PIW

Mexican crude exports in February stayed below the self-imposed 1.66 mbd ceiling offered in support of OPEC, with foreign sales at 1.575 mbd, down even further from 1.591 mbd in January. In February crude exports fell despite a 102 mbd increase in oil going to the US, as Europe took 0.06 mbd less, and no oil went to the Far East, compared to 0.058 mbd in January.

According to PIW, Russian port loading programmes for April show a 0.103 mbd rise over the previous month to 1.761 mbd, from 1.658 mbd scheduled in March and compared to 1.596 mbd in April 2001. Loadings of 0.941 mbd at the main Black Sea port of Novorossiysk are the highest since August.
