U.S.A. – Houston Ship Channel takes advantage of recent dredging

We have been informed that the Houston Pilots have agreed to extend by one hour the sailing cut off for vessels with a beam greater than 135 feet and with less than 32 feet of draught.  This is described as an attempt by the Houston Pilots to make the Port of Houston more competitive by taking advantage of the channel that has already been dredged.
