SEMINAR ON TANKER SAFETY, POLLUTION PREVENTION, SPILL RESPONSE AND COMPENSATION IN HONG KONG 6 NOVEMBER 2003

In conjunction with the autumn meetings of the INTERTANKO Executive Committee and Council, INTERTANKO will be organising an international seminar on Tanker Safety, Pollution Prevention, Spill Response and Compensation. The seminar is being organised in co-operation with the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) and the International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation (ITOPF), and will feature speakers and presentations from the associations involved as well as specialists within their fields, including:

Mr. Jan Kopernicki, Chairman of OCIMF, Dr. Helmut Sohmen, Chairman of ITOPF, Mr. Lars Carlsson, Chairman of INTERTANKO, Capt. John Hughes, Director of OCIMF, Måns Jacobsson, Director, the International Oil Pollution Compensation Funds (IOPC) and Capt. Jayant Abhyankar, International Maritime Bureau (IMB).

 

The seminar will be held at the JW Marriott hotel in Hong Kong and presentation titles include:
