The second AMC meeting this year is to be held at INTERTANKO's London office. Contributions to the agenda will be invited from the committee members but would be equally welcome from members and associate members. 1 November - International Chartering Forum - Stamford, CT

On 1 November 2004 INTERTANKO will hold an International Chartering Forum on "Shipowners’ liabilities and New Developments and Dangers in Tanker Chartering" in Stamford, CT at the Marriott Hotel. The team of experts for the forum is: Prof Martin Davies, Tulane Maritime Centre; Bill Honan, Holland&Knight, New York; Tean Lim, Rajah&Tann, Singapore and Stephen Martin, Steamship Insurance Management Service, London. The Forum will run from 0930 till 1700 and will feature interactive case studies on topics such as bills of lading, security, laytime and demurrage.

10 November, INTERTANKO Tanker Seminar, Tokyo

INTERTANKO is holding a tanker seminar on Wednesday, 10 November 2004 at 1400 at K-Line's head office in Tokyo. The seminar will be chaired by the Association's Chairman, Mr Stephen Van Dyck. Entitled "The Tanker World Today", it will focus on key political and technical issues and will include some market analysis. All INTERTANKO members, associate members and members of the Japanese Shipowners' Association are welcome to attend.
