Members’ assistance requested in a survey of users of the Straits of Malacca and Singapore

The Japan Association of Marine Safety (JAMS) has for many years invested in the safety of navigation in the Straits of Malacca and Singapore by providing navigational aids to ships using this essential route between West and East. JAMS has approached INTERTANKO’s Singapore office and requested assistance with a survey that they wish to carry out on users of the Straits.

Traffic in the Straits has increased tremendously in recent years and JAMS would like to survey the users to seek their views on navigational issues in the Straits. INTERTANKO supports the work of JAMS and therefore recommends to the membership that their questionnaire be completed (Click here to download) and returned to: INTERTANKO, Asia fax no. 65 6333 5004 or singapore@intertanko.com
