U.K. Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) - Dubai holds briefing session on maritime security at the British High Commission, Singapore

On 7 December 2005, the Officer in Charge of U.K. Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) - Dubai, of the British Royal Navy held a briefing session at the British High Commission, Singapore 

The UKMTO is committed to the free movement of maritime trade. Members of Singapore’s shipping community were updated on maritime security matters in the Northern Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean, Red Sea and the Horn of Africa. The briefing also included advice on practical measures that could be taken on vessels operating in these waters to guard against and minimise security threats to vessels and their crew.
