Copenhagen marine fuels forum

An opportunity to update on marine fuels and how the rigorous requirements of MARPOL Annex VI affect members’ business – a forum on Monday/Wednesday next week in Copenhagen called 'Marine Fuel Sustainability'.

The forum offers insight into complex issues surrounding the introduction of cleaner marine fuels, following the establishment of the inaugural Sulphur Emission Control Area (SECA) in the Baltic Sea region in May this year - as part of IMO's MARPOL Annex VI.

It aims to extend the debate on issues including alternative energy, abatement technology, fuel quality, low sulphur fuel oil procurement, refining capability and onboard fuel management.

Notice is rather late, but we have negotiated a 15% discount for INTERTANKO members, and are negotiating also to make the papers available to members after the forum. If you have any interest in the papers, please contact Bill Box.
