Safety Advisory - carbon monoxide levels during tank entry with coconut and veg oils

The dangers apparent from carbon monoxide levels during tank entry, during the carriage of coconut oils and other vegetable oils, have been highlighted in The Britannia Steam Ship Insurance Association News Letter Volume 13 Number 1, January 2006 (click here to view the article). 

From a safety point of view because of the dangers involved, we felt it was appropriate to circulate this advisory amongst our members.
