Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI) updates - advance notification to ISIS users

All users of the Integrated Ship Inspection System (ISIS) should note that the 6th Edition Ship Inspection Report (SIR) and the new ISIS-Web7 will be launched on 1 April 2007. The existing ISISTriple3 will be disconnected on this date.

 

There are milestone dates to be strictly observed and several key features to be noted:

 

Milestone Dates:

 

March 1st, 6th Edition Ship Inspection Report (SIR) available.

March 14th, last date for requesting inspection under 5th Edition SIR.

March 16th, ISIS-Web7 on-line and accepting 6th Edition SIR.

March 28th, last date for accepting 5th Edition SIR.

March 31st, Last day for accessing ISISTriple3.

April 1st, Launch of ISIS-Web7.

Key Features:

 

1)     ISIS-Web7 is entirely web-based, providing print, pdf, MS Excel and XML download formats.

2)     Ship listings have been replaced with a single "All Ships" list and rapid search engine to display the inspection status of the ship.

3)     For all users, the ‘’Report View’’ will provide direct access to EQUASIS ship file, casualty information, port state detentions, USCG Chemical Hazards Response Information System (Chris) Manual and the new Shipowner’s "Ship File" providing a continuous commentary on the operational condition of the ship.

4)     Template functionality will be held on the database, with capacity for users to create and store up to 20 individual templates.

5)     Facility to supply LR Fairplay with Vessel Particulars Questionnaire (VPQ) data for automatic verification of ship particulars held by LR Fairplay.
