INTERTANKO/INTERCARGO host joint Technical Seminar, Mumbai

We are pleased to announce a forthcoming joint technical seminar in Mumbai on 22 November 2006, hosted by INTERTANKO and INTERCARGO and aimed primarily at the associations’ joint members and associate members in the region.

 

The venue for this joint seminar will be the Hotel Renaissance Mumbai. A full schedule and registration form can be accessed here. Attendance is free of charge for members and associate members - we simply require the registration form to be completed and returned to Adele Garnett for organisational purposes.

  • Roger Holt, Secretary General, INTERCARGO - Bulk carrier casualties and incidents - observations and issues

  • Dr Tim Gunner, Consultant, INTERTANKO - IMO progress towards greenhouse gas (GHG) emission control from ships

 

We also bring to members' attention that the International Maritime Conference (INMARCO) 2006 is scheduled for 23-25 November 2006, also at the Hotel Renaissance Mumbai. The theme of this Conference is ‘Emerging Global Opportunities in Maritime India’. It has been carefully chosen to be in line with initiatives taken by the Government of India for the enhancement of the maritime sector and the growing maritime business in India in all aspects of shipping.
