As the shipping industry transitions toward alternative fuels, INTERTANKO has published a comparison table to help Members navigate the operational and regulatory changes that come with their adoption.
While operators are familiar with the nuances of handling conventional fuel oil, the table sets out how these considerations translate to the alternative fuels (LNG and Methanol)
This document will provide a clear starting point for understanding the practical implications of alternative fuels and will serve as a foundation for further insights, as operational experience grows and international standards evolve.
