INTERTANKO Competence Management Guidance (ICMG)

Developed by INTERTANKO’s Human Element in Shipping Committee, the objective of the ICMG is to assist ship operators in ensuring that officers have the right technical competences to perform their duties, prevent incidents and set competence standards based on best practice across their fleet.
This will help with monitoring and actively managing the skill sets and being proactive when specific training needs arise.
