    Paris MoU performing concentrated inspection campaign on seafarers’ working and living conditions

    Commencing 1 October 2004 the 20 maritime authorities of the Paris MoU will carry out a concentrated inspection campaign focusing on seafarers’ working and living conditions.     Channel hazard reports to be broadcast only at VTS reporting points

    Due to several concerns expressed by the maritime community, VTS (Vessel Traffic Services) will no longer provide mariners with channel hazard information via the VHF-FM channel 05A broadcast.     Compliance with Los Angeles/ Long Beach Voluntary Speed Reduction Program
