A direct approach by INTERTANKO to the top management of the Port of Houston Authority paved the way for permission to be granted for a member to carry out an annual survey for lifeboat on-load release gear. OPEC expects non-OPEC production to increase by 1.82 mbd in 2007

OPEC expects a strong increase in non-OPEC oil production in 2007, which means that the call on OPEC crude will be reduced.   The 0.44 mbd increase in North American oil production will more than cover the 0.39 mbd expected increase in North American demand.
