Philippines' single-hull ban from 30 April 2008

International Salvage Union (ISU) to hold a Tanker Spill Exercise in London

Life-Saving Appliances Pocket Checklist issued by Lloyd's Register and U.K. P&I Club

According to Lloyd's Register and the U.K. P&I Club, about 2,500 crew and passengers were reported killed or missing in 2005-2007. Weakening oil demand

The ( Paris-based) International Energy Agency ( IEA) is carefully revising its oil demand figures downwards, although oil demand is still projected to increase by 0.8 mbd more than last year’s increase.
