MEPC 57 - Ship recycling

IMO’s Working Group charged with developing the International Ship Recycling Convention continued to make good progress on the draft Convention this week at the MEPC 57 meeting. Minerva Alfonso departs from INTERTANKO after 21 years of “duty”

High deliveries will require a strong increase in demand

  Newbuilding deliveries are increasing in an uncertain market.   The tanker orderbook is almost 120 m dwt and the non-double hull fleet above 10,000 dwt is some 73 m dwt.
