Invitation to join RT CEOs for an evening Seminar and Dinner Reception

The international shipping industry continues to face a diversity of regulatory, political, social and environmental challenges including piracy in the Gulf of Aden, greenhouse gas emission regulations and officer training and shortages. These challenges are at the top of the agenda of the four international shipping associations that make up the Round Table (RT) - BIMCO, ICS, INTERCARGO and INTERTANKO.

Following the International Symposium on Safety & Protection of the Maritime Environment (see article above) in Kuala Lumpur on Monday 24 November, the four RT CEO’s will be hosting an evening seminar and dinner reception.

The seminar will be an opportunity for Members and Associates of the four associations to hear an update on the industry’s key issues from the four CEOs, while at the same time providing an opportunity to discuss these challenges with Round Table association staff and fellow members at a dinner reception following the seminar.

The event will be held in the Summit Room of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
