Tokyo Tanker Event 2009, only 3 weeks to go!

A full 2-day programme is scheduled, with an array of high level speakers, focusing on providing the latest information, sharing experiences and opening discussions on how to deal with rapidly changing economic and shipping markets.

Setting the scene will be our keynote speakers with representation from high-level government and industry people, and the “Oil and Tanker Market session”, where the latest developments in the fast-changing markets are presented and discussed by top market analysts.

Furthermore, a number of sessions on various tanker issues will take place: “ Tanker Emissions Efficiency - Obligations and Options” ; “ Poseidon Challenge - Lessons learned from Quality Improvement” ; “ Human Element - The Human Side of Piracy & Recruitment in the Tanker Sector”; “ Effective Risk Management, A necessary Tool for Surviving in Difficult Times” .

All sessions deal with issues that are of the great concern and are placed high on the agenda of the tanker and maritime industry.

Several dinners will offer you excellent networking opportunities - in the beautiful grounds of Meiji Kinenkan and at the exclusive Roppongi Hills Club.
