INTERTANKO/INTERCARGO lunchtime seminar – Port State Control

The next seminar for UK-based INTERCARGO and INTERTANKO Members is scheduled for Wednesday, 17 March 2010, at our combined offices in the Minories.


We are very pleased to announce that Captain Jim Barclay, Nautical Advisor and Principal Specialist, Target Ship Section/Classification Group, Lloyd's Register (LR) will be speaking on Port State Control Issues.


The session will cover LR's analysis on tanker and bulk fleet port state control (PSC) detentions, the new inspection regime for the Paris Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on port state control, initiatives to reduce the potential of PSC detentions and the next PSC Concentrated Inspection Campaign.


Time: 1200-1400 (arrivals 1200 for 1215 start of presentation, followed by questions and a sandwich lunch).


Venue: St Clare House – 9th floor, 30-33 Minories, London EC3N 1DD.
