U.A.E./Khor Fakkan – new Waste Reception Facility

We are pleased to inform that a Marpol Annex 1 Marine Waste Reception Facility is available in Khor Fakkan port in the U.A.E. This facility is said to be the first of the kind in the Middle East Gulf and will have a capacity to treat 10,000 tonnes of oily sludge and up to 60,000 tonnes of slops per year. The plant has been built in cooperation with a local U.A.E. company and is under the promotion of the ruling family of the Emirate of Sharjah and the Sharjah municipality.
