Safety publication deal for INTERTANKO members

Safety is a major issue and a high priority for INTERTANKO members. Because of this, and emphasising that we do not usually enter into such arrangements, INTERTANKO has, as part of the range of services to its members, negotiated an agreement to enable its members to subscribe to Safety at Sea magazine at a special preferential rate.

Safety at Sea is a monthly magazine that was taken over by Lloyd's Register-Fairplay earlier this year, and deals purely with maritime safety issues. Since its start-up in 1967, it has established a reputation for objective reporting and is sought out by the mainstream media for expert comment.

The magazine provides relevant and up-to-date information on issues which touch on safety and security on board ships. It will inform and update ship- and office-based staff with safety news from the International Maritime Organization (IMO), updates on legislation, accident reports and other safety-related information.

If members would like a free trial, or wish to sign up as new subscribers, then INTERTANKO has agreed a 20% discount provided the subscription is taken before 30 November 2004. Please contact:
