Canada – marine pollution regulation to be published

Transport Canada has issued a news release stating that, on May 16, it will officially publish regulations implementing various international marine pollution prevention requirements. Among the issues addressed in the regulations will be use of new oily water filtering equipment, marine sanitation devices, cargo sweepings, air emissions, and anti-fouling systems. Suezmax fleet and market

Johan G Olsen’s (JGO) latest suezmax review lists 372 ships together with an orderbook of 129. There are 61 single hull (SH) suezmaxes [including double bottomed (DB)/double sided (DS)] with 18 suezmaxes of 20 years or older among them.
