Reception at House of Lords for Mercy Ships UK

Mercy Ships UK operates a hospital ship to provide hope and healing to poor people in developing nations. The Africa Mercy and her staff of 450 volunteer doctors and nurses offer extensive day care facilities as well as 78 hospital beds. Mercy Ships UK is a charity with an annual budget of £4.4m.

In order to acquaint London's maritime community with the work of Mercy Ships and to raise funds for this cause, The Executive Chairman of Foresight Limited, Ravi Mehrotra, is holding an evening reception 6-8 p.m. on Friday 14 January 2011 at the House of Lords. A number of political personalities will be present, and there will be guided tours of the House for those unfamiliar with it.

The cost of participation will be £80 per person. For more information or to reserve places please e-mail Ms Bernadette Nicely bn@fs-g.com or Ms Sue Hall sue.hall@mercyships.org.uk
